Share-A-Haircut: Hair Cuttery’s Way to Honor Veterans
Sharing is caring. With this motto in mind, the largest family-owned U.S. hair salon chain has decided to give back to former servicemen and women on Veterans Day this year. The Share-A-Haircut program is a great initiative meant to say “thank you” to veterans, recognizing their service and showing gratitude for how bravely they defended this nation.
With every haircut purchased on Friday, November 11, a free haircut certificate will be donated to a veteran in the same community where the haircut was purchased.
The Share-A-Haircut is in its 17th year. During this entire period it has proudly donated almost 2 million free haircut certificates worth over $30 million to noble causes such as victims of domestic violence, homeless and disadvantaged children. This year thousands more will benefit from the Hair Cuttery’s generosity thanks to this veteran-focused program.
In its aim to distribute the free certificates Hair Cuttery has teamed with veteran organizations like Salvation Army, Jewish War Veterans of the U.S.A and National Veterans Homeless Support. The founder and CEO of the prestigious chain describes this program as a “salute to the men and women who have courageously defended our country”.
That’s a great way to put a smile on people’s faces on Veterans Day! For more information, visit haircuttery.com.
