How To Do A Quick Waterfall Twist Hairstyle

The Waterfall Twist is an easier version of the waterfall braid, since we’re only dealing with two hair sections. The Waterfall Twist looks great with straight or wavy hair.

1. Begin by taking a small 2-3 inch section at the side part and divide into two even pieces

2. Twist the hair by bringing the outside piece away from your face and bringing the other piece under, twisting around each other

3. After creating one twist, take a small section from the top by the part and twist the two pieces

4. Twist the added section and the bottom section around each other and let the bottom of the section fall through the middle

5.Take another section from the top and twist the added section and the bottom section around each other. Let the bottom section fall through the middle and hang down

6. Repeat by adding and twisting each section from the top, along the hairline until reaching the back of the head and secure with a pin

7. Move to the other side and take a small 1 inch section from the other side of the part. Divide into two pieces

8. Twist the two pieces away from the face

9. Add a section from the top by the hairline and bring that strand over the top strand, ending up underneath the bottom strand, and let it hang

10. Twist the two sections around each other away from the face

11. After creating one twist, take a small section from the top, by the part and twist the two pieces around each other

12. Twist the added section and the bottom section around each other and let the bottom of the section fall through the middle. Repeat adding and twisting each section on this side, from the top, along the hairline and till reaching the back of the head

13. Secure with a pin

14. Finish the style by tugging on the sides to loosen the twist
